May Update!

Hi friends,

I'm so excited to finally have new products in the shop today! Spring is the busiest time of year at my day job (it's auction fundraiser season) and there hasn't been as much time to spend in the studio. But, I have managed to squeeze in a few sessions here and there and with the help of my Kiln-Engineer, bring some new pieces to life. Plus, there was a clay shortage at the local supply store to work around ~ it's rather hard to make handles for mugs when you are out of porcelain!

I'm especially excited to share the new two-tone cactus and flower cups with you. It's been fun to experiment with different glaze combinations and find new ways to incorporate the cactus mishima design. (See the pic below for a tiny glaze-test bird.) Hope you like them as much as I do.

Now, off to the studio to trim some mugs! Thanks for stopping by,
